Welcome to another Q&A session where I answer questions from y'all on the internet.
Today's question is:
It is perfectly normal for your puppy to whine and cry in the beginning. I always say there's a right way and wrong way to train a puppy in crate training. Uh I'm going to give you the the quick, you know, tips here. Don't buy a crate, stick your puppy in it, and then leave the room or the house, and your puppy has no clue what's going on. So, when you first crate train, the biggest tip I can give you is put the crate in a room where you're going to be in and work with him in that room during the day when you have a free uh day off and working with him, putting him in there, leaving him in for a while, letting him figure out what's going on.
Frank Silva acknowledged that it is normal for a puppy to cry in the crate initially. To properly crate train, they emphasized that owners should avoid buying a crate, sticking the puppy in it, and immediately leaving the room or house, as the puppy will be confused and have no idea what is happening. The biggest tip for crate training is to put the crate in the same room as the owner, working with the puppy in that space during the day.
